The Three Can System

In an effort to recycle our trash and make sure we get the right waste to the right place; Valley Vista Services uses a three can system for residential trash services. Sometimes knowing what waste goes where can seem a bit confusing so we have provided a list below to help guide you. Note that some items, such as Bamboo, Ivy, and Palm Fronds which can cause damage to processing equipment, are not listed under Green Waste but under trash instead.

Household Hazardous Waste

All residents of Los Angeles County may utilize the City of Los Angeles S.A.F.E. permanent collection centers (various) to properly dispose of HHW/E-Waste FREE of charge.
